1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp black pepper
Salt to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
Cook the Pasta:
Boil the pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Cook the Steak:2. Season the steak: Sprinkle the Cajun seasoning evenly over the cubed steak, making sure it’s well-coated.
3. Sear the steak: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned steak and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until browned on all sides and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Creamy Sauce:4. Sauté the vegetables: In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until softened.
5. Create the sauce: Add the heavy cream, chicken broth, smoked paprika, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir well and let the sauce simmer for 5 minutes, or until it thickens slightly.6. Add the cheese: Stir in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce becomes creamy and smooth. Taste and add salt if needed.
Combine Everything:
7. Add the steak and pasta: Return the cooked steak to the skillet and toss everything together with the pasta. Stir to coat the steak and pasta with the creamy sauce.8. Simmer: Let everything simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
Serve:
9. Plate the dish: Serve the creamy Cajun steak and pasta on plates and garnish with fresh parsley.
Pro Tip:
For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes for a bit more spice.
Bacon bits or a sprinkle of extra Parmesan cheese on top will add even more richness!
Enjoy your Cajun Steak and Pasta—a creamy, flavorful, and satisfying meal!
