Recipe for Reese's & Butterfinger Cheesecake

 

Ingredients:
For the crust:
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate sandwich cookies (Oreos), crushed
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 6 tablespoons melted butter
For the cheesecake:
- 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs, separated
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup melted peanut butter cups (Reese's)
- 1 cup crushed Butterfinger bars
For the chocolate ganache:
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
2. Prepare the crust and press into a 9-inch springform pan.
3. Bake for 10 minutes, then set aside.
4. Prepare the cheesecake batter and pour over the crust.
5. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.
6. Allow the cheesecake to cool completely.
7. Melt the chocolate chips and butter for the ganache.
8. Drizzle the ganache over the cooled cheesecake.
9. Top with additional Reese's and Butterfinger pieces, if desired.
