Decadent Caramel Brownie Cheesecake

 

This indulgent dessert combines the richness of cheesecake with the fudgy goodness of brownies, all topped with gooey caramel. It's the perfect treat for any gathering!
Ingredients:
1 package of brownie mix
24 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
4 eggs
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup caramel sauce
1/4 cup chocolate chips
1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions:
Prepare the Brownie Base:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
Prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions.
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20 minutes.
Let the brownie base cool slightly.
Make the Cheesecake Layer:
In a large bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Stir in the sour cream until fully incorporated.
Assemble the Cheesecake:
Pour the cream cheese mixture over the slightly cooled brownie base.
Drizzle 1/2 cup of caramel sauce over the top of the cheesecake mixture.
Use a knife to gently swirl the caramel into the cheesecake to create a marbled effect.
Bake the Cheesecake:
Bake the cheesecake for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is almost set (it should still have a slight wobble).
Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside to cool for 1 hour.
Chill and Serve:
Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours or overnight to set completely.
Before serving, drizzle additional caramel sauce over the top.
Sprinkle with chocolate chips and chopped nuts if desired.
